BETWEEN KAFOORUN AND FAKHOORUN

This is the trait of majority of human beings they viscillate between rejection and boasting. The Holy Quran says in Sura Hud " If We give man a taste of mercy from Ourselves, and then withdraw it from him, behold! he is in despair and (falls into) ingratitude. But if we give him a taste of (Our) favours after adversity hath touched him, he is sure to say, "All evil has departed from me"; behold! he falls into exultation and pride" (11:9-10)
A momin is characterised by a balanced disposition. The external conditions do not effect his state of mind while as those who are not firm in belief are fickle minded. The Holy Quran the goes on to give two characteristics of persons who donot viscillate like above. It says, "not so do those who show patience and constancy, and work righteousness; for them is forgiveness (of sins) and a great reward. (11:11).
Thus persons who have patience and work good deeds are the ones who donot viscillate and have a stable and balanced disposition.
