Today is the day of renewal of allegiance to the one recommended by the Holy Prophet(S.A.W.W). The one whose Wilayah is the same as the Wilayah of the Holy Prophet. "Whomsoever I am the Moula, Ali is his Moula". Anyone who claims to be under the Wilayah of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W) without accepting the Wilayah of Imam Ali is therefore either a munafiq who is lying (Remember Abuzar saying that they recognised munafiqs by their hatred of Imam Ali) or is an ignorant person. There is no third possibility. We are blessed by having accepted the Wilayah of Imam Ali. He renew our allegiance to one who was the first to pay allegiance to our beloved Prophet. I have been very irregular in writing. However I have been jolted out of my slumber by a very serious personal event. My brother-in-law who is just two years elder to me and was enjoining much better health then me had to undergo an emergency colonic surgery and has been diagnosed as having malignancy of the colon. Now he is very jovial and helpful person who helps everyone and is honest. How could this happen to him? I went to Kashmir to spend sometime with himand my sister. Post-operatively he had a complication of "air embolism" and became severely breathless transiently. Once he settled down I was talking to hom and he pointed to a very important fact. He said when he got this problem he could feel how easy and close death is to a person. Why is then such arrogance in and around us? What I said in previous scrap has been proven right. The response of the system has been as expected. whatever has happened has made me very sad. there is nothing to be happy about and nothing to cheer about. The turmoil favours the enemies of Islam and they have surprisingly ripped the veils off their face. The cannot hide their glee and happiness. Mr. Obama has no concern for democracy and Mr. Mousavi he supports the protestors only because he sees the prospect of the declared policy of "regimen change" taking place without the need of American forces. He recently went to Egypt to deliver his famous speech Does'nt he know that his host Mr. Mubarak has been winning every election by 98% of votes. What has Mr.Obama to say about it? Why did America reject the choice of Palestinians when they voted for Hamas? Why do they support Mahmood Abbas who was rejected by Palestinians?

I feel really concerned about the events in Iran. The post-election violence has really damaged the image of the country and made the enemies of the Islamic Republic very happy. I don't know the exact picture. The reporting both for and against can be biased. We cannot depend on the reports and analysis of western media because we know that they are biased against the system in Iran and obviously what is reported in the official media is also biased. However we can draw some conclusions from the facts we know. First if someone challenges the authority of the Leader it is clear that he does not subscribe to the concept of "Vilayat-e-faqih" because that concept demands an absolute obedience to the leader. Therefore if Mr. Mousavi continues to go ahead with street protests he brings himself in direct confrontation with the system and thus makes it clear that he has moved to the next level i,e challenging the system itself. Some things are easy to understand than to define. How do you define happiness? Everyone of us know what happiness is but it is difficult to define. Happiness is a state of mind or soul and therefore not something tangible and material. You feel happy when you achieve something you have aimed for and have worked for. Hapiness usually reflects itself in your body language and you usually know from the actions of a person whether he is happy or not. An important question is what is Islamic concept of happiness? This is what I want to address here and research upon.

I feel pity for the youth of Kashmir. They are no less than anyone in the world as far as intelligence and hardwork is concerned yet they have been caught in the cycle of seemingly unending strife, anarchy and turmoil. When I see the confident and vibrant younger generation here in Delhi it makes me sad to think what the youth of my own land are subjected to. I pray to Allah for return of peace and normalcy so that these young people shine in every sphere of life and contribute to the prosperity and development Kashmir. abid

This is the trait of majority of human beings they viscillate between rejection and boasting. The Holy Quran says in Sura Hud " If We give man a taste of mercy from Ourselves, and then withdraw it from him, behold! he is in despair and (falls into) ingratitude. But if we give him a taste of (Our) favours after adversity hath touched him, he is sure to say, "All evil has departed from me"; behold! he falls into exultation and pride" (11:9-10) A momin is characterised by a balanced disposition. The external conditions do not effect his state of mind while as those who are not firm in belief are fickle minded. It says, "not so do those who show patience and constancy, and work righteousness; for them is forgiveness (of sins) and a great reward. (11:11).
